Habidoro

Habidoro is a productivity tool for people who do something every day for a certain amount of time. It's a combination of pomodoro timer and habit tracker. 

Here's how it works: I want to program every day for one hour. So, I make a new project, setting project name to "Programming," changing number of pomodoros to 2. Since the default pomodoro length is 25 minutes, that means my work goal is 2 pomodoros of 25 minutes each, or 50 minutes. Now, every time I work on programming, I just start the timer and work according to the pomodoro system until my goal is complete. If I want to keep working after my goal is done, I just start the timer and all the time will be recorded.

Habidoro will store the amount of time you worked every day as well as if your goal was complete. It displays this information as a bar chart of your work days. 

What is the point of this? Here's how Habidoro helps you keep a habit: 

• Streaks
  • Every day that you complete your goal in a row, it adds to your streak. Not breaking the chain becomes motivating
• Set time to work
  • Habidoro asks you to input a time at which you'll work and will notify you at that time. Research has shown that simply choosing a time to work on something makes you much more likely to actually do it.
• Clear goals
  • If you know how long you have to do something, it's easier to get started
• Motivating stats
  • Habidoro automatically calculates total work time and other stats. It's motivating watching those numbers go up.
• Pomodoro System
  • Breaking a long work goal into small chunks makes it much easier to get started and to keep going
• Accountability Partners (Note: Temporarily unavailable. If you were using an old version of Habidoro, please update, as enabling the email feature will now prevent startup)
